The principals of sustainable architecture are integral to our designs, and inform our unique architectural aesthetic. Our surroundings reflect these principals - we work in a purpose built studio amongst native bush with stunning views across Wellington harbour.

Allan Morse Architect Ltd is led by registered architect, Allan Morse. Previously, Allan was the co-founder of Melling Morse Architects, a highly successful, award-winning firm.

Allan is regarded as a New Zealand pioneer in the architectural use of eco-friendly timber, macrocarpa - with its strong, durable and natural properties.

our process

We aim to exceed expectations. We understand the importance of listening, understanding, questioning and getting involved in the needs of our clients. We offer a free introductory meeting to discuss requirements and practical needs, and to determine whether our services suit.

Our clients are encouraged to become team members on their projects, collaborating with us to resolve the project brief and establish a realistic budget. They are involved in the designs right up until the consent stage, and are actively involved in decision making at site meetings during construction.
